Florida Named #1 in High School Athlete Safety

 The Zachary Martin Act is now law and provides FHSAA high schools with policies to protect the health and safety of high schoolers while participating in clubs and sports YEAR-ROUND! Historically, the FHSAA only regulated member schools during the academic school year, which means, all those SUMMER CONDITIONING WORKOUTS have had no health or safety policies to protect our kids. After passing the Florida House and Senate unanimously, it was signed into law by Governor DeSantis 6/23/2020. This bill includes the mandatory safety protocols  we have begged for, for the last 2 years. June 9th, 2020, FHSAA voted to include these safety requirements in their policies.
